Please follow the below steps to book a free trial class at London Grapple.


If You’ve Never Trained Grappling or MMA

  1. Register via the button below and select ‘trial class’ as your membership option.

  2. Your free trial class sign up is not date dependent, nor do we have a requirement that you book in to any class before you attend. Our only requirement is that you sign in to our system upon arrival, we’ll show you how to do this before your first session.

  3. Please wear a t-shirt and shorts (no zippers) to your first session - there’s no need to buy Gi or No Gi kit until you’re sure you want to commit to training. See our advice here for what you’ll need at your first MMA class.

  4. All that’s left to do now is turn up to the class you’ve selected 15 minutes before it’s scheduled to begin and we’ll look after you from there.

  5. Note - footwear is required to be worn at all times within the gym when not on the mats.

  6. We recommend you attend the following classes for your first session;

    • Gi & No Gi

      • We recommend you attend the Thursday ‘5:30pm Introduction to BJJ’ session for your first class. Alternatively, we recommend attending any of the Gi or No Gi ‘Fundamentals’ classes - see times here.

    • Kids BJJ

      • Any of the kids classes on our timetable are suitable

    • Wrestling

      • We recommend attending the Tuesday evening fundamental class

    • MMA

      • As there is less striking in our ‘MMA Wall Work’ and ‘MMA Grappling’ classes, we’d recommend either of these for your trial session

If You’ve Trained Grappling or MMA Previously

  1. Register via the button below and select ‘trial class’ as your membership option.

  2. As you already have some experience, please review our timetable and select the class you’re most interested in - see class times here.

  3. Your free trial class sign up is not date dependent, nor do we have a requirement that you book in to any class before you attend. Our only requirement is that you sign in to our system upon arrival, we’ll show you how to do this before your first session.

  4. Please wear the appropriate training attire to your first session - including the wearing of shoes at all times when not on the mats.

  5. All that’s left to do now is turn up to the class you’ve selected 15 minutes before it’s scheduled to begin and we’ll look after you from there.

  6. Have fun!

Following Your Free Trial Class

  1. To become a member, please send an email to info@londongrapple.co.uk outlining the date you’d like to begin training from and the type of membership you’ll be signing up to. Students, please attach a photo of your current student ID to the above-mentioned email.

  2. Before joining, please review our terms and conditions here.

  3. Once set up by a staff member, you will be requested to log in to your member portal and add payment details to complete the Direct Debit setup.

  4. You’re now set up and can commence training as and when you like.
