Kids BJJ Classes
Class structure
Our Kids' BJJ classes are divided into three age groups: 4-7, 7-11, and 11+ (see our timetable for more information).
Classes begin with a game to warm up. Students are then taken through activities aimed at enhancing their technical skills. This leads to various BJJ techniques that are practised with a training partner.
The remainder of the class is spent sparring in a controlled environment, with the goal being the execution of the techniques learned to date.
Experienced coaches
Joe Chapple, Peter Shamarkou and Ed Dingley lead our BJJ classes for kids.
Each of our instructors brings a wealth of knowledge, a unique set of skills, and an infectious enthusiasm for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and teaching.
How to get started
