Euan Gilkinson

Euan was born and raised in Edinburgh and began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the age of 16 after trying a range of different sports. BJJ was the first that fully stuck. He trained consistently until the COVID lockdowns, after which he took a year away from training.

He heard about London Grapple through a Craig Jones Instagram post and received his blue belt shortly before leaving Scotland. Euan began training at London Grapple shortly after the gym opened in September 2021 and has remained a consistent presence since.

Alongside his training, Euan studied History at King’s College London, graduating in 2024. He trained predominantly No Gi during this period while balancing work and study.

Since 2025, Euan has been part of the London Grapple team in a full-time capacity, working as Assistant Manager while continuing to train regularly.
